Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect three categories of personal information:

• Account information. Name, email, password (hashed), business name and resale certificate (wholesale only), and any optional profile details you add.
• Order information. Billing and shipping address, phone, items ordered, order total, payment-method type and last 4 digits (we do not store full card numbers — see Sharing below), age-verification result, and any notes you leave at checkout.
• Browsing information. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed on our site, referring URL, and timestamps. Collected automatically via our analytics tool and standard server logs.

2. How we use it

We use your information to fulfill orders, communicate about shipments and customer service issues, verify age and eligibility, prevent fraud, send the marketing emails you've opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time), improve the website, and comply with applicable hemp and tax law. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing

We share the minimum information needed with vendors who help us run the business:

• Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) — name, shipping address, phone — to deliver your order.
• Payment processor (Stripe / our merchant of record) — billing address and card data, transmitted directly to the processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Lab partners (ACS Laboratory, Encore Labs) — batch metadata, never customer data — for compliance testing.
• Email and analytics vendors — under standard data-processing agreements, used only on our behalf.
• Law enforcement — when required by a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use first-party cookies to keep you logged in and remember cart contents, and a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are useful. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings; the site will still work but your cart and session will reset.

5. Your rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Virginia, or another state with comprehensive consumer-privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you.
• Receive a copy of that information in a portable format.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information, subject to legal and tax-record retention requirements.
• Opt out of any sale or share of personal information (we don't do either, but the right exists).

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@leaftekdistributions.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 45 days.

6. Data retention

We retain order records for 7 years to comply with tax and hemp-program record-keeping requirements. Account profiles are kept until you delete the account; inactive accounts (no login or order in 3 years) are archived. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized after 14 months.

7. Security

We protect personal information with TLS in transit, encryption at rest, hashed passwords, restricted internal access, and regular security review. No system is perfect — if we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

8. Children

Our site and products are for adults 21 and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact sales@leaftekdistributions.com and we will delete it.

9. Updates to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information in a material way, we will update this page and, when appropriate, email account holders. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy always reflects the current version.
